Bridge runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API

A direct connection, with no BSP

Bridge talks to Meta's Cloud API directly. No Business Solution Provider sits between your number and Bridge. Bridge's Meta app passed Meta App Review in August 2026.

Your number stays yours

Your business owns its WhatsApp Business Account and can connect a new number. You can bring your existing WhatsApp number. You remove it from the WhatsApp Business app on your phone first, and it moves to Bridge. You connect through Meta's own signup popup, and an admin can reconnect or disconnect it from Settings. When you disconnect, Bridge shows the number's two-step verification PIN once.

What you need before connecting

• A Meta business portfolio (Business Manager).
• A WhatsApp Business Account with a phone number.

Meta may ask your business to complete verification.

How connecting works

1. An admin opens Settings → Connect WhatsApp.
2. In Meta's popup, choose your business portfolio, WhatsApp Business Account and phone number, and approve the permissions.
3. Bridge stores the access credentials encrypted and registers the number.
4. Settings shows the number as Connected.

The 24-hour window

WhatsApp lets a business send free-form replies for 24 hours after a customer's last message. Bridge works out the window from that message. Inside it, staff reply from Bridge. Once it has closed, the reply box is disabled and Bridge tells staff to call the lead.

Inbound only

Bridge only replies to people who message your business. It never messages anyone first, and it does not send template messages, broadcasts or reminders today.

Buttons and lists, not typing

The bot uses WhatsApp reply buttons and list messages, so customers tap instead of type. Bridge keeps option labels inside Meta's length limits, so they display correctly.
